Ashraf A.Sadek


B.1955, B.S.c in Architecture - Ain Shams University 1978. Started his career as a junior architect with 'Sayed El Komy' the prominent Egyptian Architect.Two years later he joined Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum (H.O.K) the leading American Architectural firm as the site architect for the Nile Tower Office Building where HOK were the architects commissioned by Misr Iran Development Bank. The huge experience acquired through working for the number one architectural firm in the world and the early exposure to the international standards and codes for practice has helped in adopting a new perspective to how buildings should be designed and how major construction projects are managed. In late 1983, after the completion of the Nile Tower and the end of his mission with HOK, Mr.Sadek founded Modern Interiors, a company specialized in high quality interior design and construction. Modern Interiors has grown to become one of the leading companies in its field. In 1991, Mr.Sadek started a separate practice specialized in providing design services with corporates and banks forming the majority of clients at the beginning then extended to include resorts, hotels, hospitality and residential.
Starting 2006, the firm acquired its current name 'Ashraf Sadek Associates'.
